The concept of Islamic Tourism is very broad and is not easy to delimit. In its narrowest sense, it can be understood as ‘religious tourism’ (visits to mausoleums and holy places in all Islamic countries). But in its broadest sense, is the tourism that assumes the values of Islam. And most of these values are common to other religious and non-religious beliefs (eg the Code of Ethics of the World Tourism Organization).
